would YOU ask YOUR country to SUPPORT YOU & YOURS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE???

This isn't a deep question, or a hard question, not theological nor philosophical & as little as a simple yes or no is all that is required.... THANK YOU!!

NO; I would ask that the Government get OUT of my life as much as possible. Only idiots and losers want to become dependent wards of the State.

We are intended to be the land of opportunity, not the li and of hammocks for all.
What you make of it is up to you.

Do you have an opinion/comment on the OP???

I respect that you are just looking for a simple yes or no here, but this question is just a little too loaded for such a simple answer. The circumstances really do effect the answer, and the meaning of "support" would need to be clarified as well.

I usually like to make loaded &/or ambiguous questions but I was not intending to do so here.

You are welcome & encouraged to give much more than a simple yes or no "as little as a simple yes or no " was meant as a bare minimum..

I noticed things mentioned & no, I am not referring to any earned bennies, such as SS, Medicare, pension etc which are of course earned..

By support I mean those necessities necessary for life in the USA, particularly the location one lives..

If you are just wondering if I would ask my fellow tax payers to give me a free ride, the answer is no. I am doing fine providing for my family with my income, and I would not be comfortable asking my fellow workers to give me a free ride.

I'm not sure I understand the question. Under what context, or circumstance exactly?

That's a rather vague question. WTH do you really mean?

I say no. Nobody owes me anything, I'm content with what I've earned.

As for "particularly the location one lives..," how could that be fair? Rural folks cost of
living is far less than in the cities. Cheap apartments are at least 3 times that of a nice
one around here. There would be a great difference in spending between the two.
