but since you bought that up -how many charging stations will need to be built at tax payer expense?
Unlike roads the generate gas taxes to pay for roads?
Will they be in the cities-subject to vandalism and copper theft?

Chinese investment practices have resulted in significant negative effects on developing countries’ economies and political institutions. They are also increasing corruption and undermining financial and political independence. China is not doing this out to save mankind nor help the planet,

I would consider anything that addresses the 'Climate Change' conundrum worthy of 'Subsidy'.

Do you have a lot of people stealing Gas from Gas Stations in your neighborhood? Lot of ATM Machines go missing? Do you lock your car as it sits in your Driveway?
