I spent a lot of years doubting Musk and saying negative stuff about him online.....I might have been wrong.

In a classified briefing this afternoon, attended by officials from the Biden Justice Department, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed that Elon committed “election interference” in 2022 by “changing the algorithms” on X to alter the results of the midterms that year.

Not coincidentally, the anti-TikTok legislation now being debated on the Hill would allow the federal government to force the sale of any social media platform that interferes in elections. Just so you know what’s coming in 2025.
 
I will miss X when the Regime either captures it or kills it, I spend a lot of time there, and while I believe the claims that it does things like shadowbanning so it is not a complete free mind site it is certainly the best meeting place and source for news that we currently have.
 
For all the yap about how people are leaving X not a single of the over 50 people I follow have left....accounts are still ups and they post new content.

I don't use X much, though I'm glad it's still around. I certainly appreciate Elon Musk's hand in the Twitter files. My go to sources for news these days are Scheerpost, Consortium News and some substack authors. I also check RT fairly often- I may not use their actual articles much anymore, but they tend to cover stories that western media rarely regarding Ukraine- I can then just search for it online to find a "western" version so people don't go on about how my news source is Russian and therefore can't be trusted :-p.
