sure.....he had to step down voluntarily........which he did........which he did because the party leaders gave him no choice........which they ought to have done before the primaries even started since every single one of them knew he was incapacitated but covered up for that year......you have two possible choices.......either they planned to keep him on until after the election or they were the dumbest mother fuckers on the planet.............

The party leaders can't reasonably force him out If he didn't want to leave. He had already won the nomination for 2024. Sure, they could invoke the 25th Amendment, send the entire party into chaos and most certainly guarantee a win for Trump. They decided to play it safe and try to baby him through the finish line. It didn't work because of his very public failure in the debate. If not for that, who knows where we would be right now.

The writing was on the wall when the polling flipped to Trump leading in nearly every swing state and the large money donors started panicking and holding back campaign donations.

Not everything is a grand conspiracy.

There's always a wide range of polling data. Often the numbers are also within the margin of error. Democrats, including Biden, also knew that Americans were unhappy about the border, inflation and other actual issues. They also seem to believe that, once Trump started campaigning he would turn off voters again.

Toward the end, I believe Trump was showing as high as + 7 in Michigan? When that happens, it's over.

no.....the average lead in Michigan was still within the range of error........the average was 5% or more in places like Nevada, Georgia, NC.....
so Trump always led in the swing states polls.......granted, what did change is that the DNC's strategy of stopping Trump with lawfare failed........

Some of which are shitty. There's also the fact that campaigns do their own polling, internally.

From what it sounds like, Biden had to be forced out. He either wasn't accepting the polling or was able to find polling that told him what he wanted to believe.

There is no conspiracy.

"They" who? He eventually decided to quit when it the money stopped coming in from the biggest donors.. Nobody forced him out.
