You might want to inform some of your more disturbed fellow (R)s here that the same is true of those of us on the other side of the political rainbow. It seems that there are very few true conservatives left any more in the (R) party. They were labeled traitors and RINOs and kicked to the curb for not worshiping the shiny new emperor and his shiny new clothes.
Both political parties prey on fear -- but yours does most of all. Fear of other, fear of the future, fear of difference, fear of losing power, fear fear fear. When I was an 7-yo girl, crouching under her classroom desk during yet another nuclear attack drill, I decided that I was going to stop being afraid of the stupid adults who kept telling us that Russia was going to bomb us into atoms. I just knew that over there was some 7-yo Russian girl fearing that WE were going to bomb HER into atoms. I've never wavered from being extremely skeptical when stupid "adults" are telling me to fear this thing and that thing. (D)s do it too, only not as bad as you guys.
Wouldn't it be great if we'd just stop listening to the stupid adults and decide for ourselves where the truth is, and who/what/when to be worried?
This post though is just another assumption, and one of the simplest ways to try to train your mind away from reality and fit your thought within the simpler boundaries of propaganda. When people try to fit others within these boundaries is usually when they go awry. The color of the jersey doesn't necessarily control the thought of the personality.
