Your children only need two dolls!

How many can his grandchildren afford?

What about his golden shitter?

How many dinners can a family of four afford?

It is not about dolls. It is about austerity for the masses, so the wealthy can get more. You will have less, it will cost more. you will not get a shot at being as wealthy as your parents, unless you are wealthy. If so, your greater wealth will be guaranteed.

The trouble with our spoiled selfish population here in America is they perceive personal financial responsibility as punitive austerity. We are a pitiful bunch as a whole consuming 100 times our share of everything.

The fact is Trump was not telling the truth, as is normal for him. The average girl does not have 35 dolls. They are not spoiled like his kids are. He makes up absurd scenarios, and you Trumpys twist yourself into knots trying to defend his stupidity.
On a good day, you can figure out who will face austerity. It is not the wealthy.

How many do they need? The amount you can afford may be entirely different to how many you may need. These things are different words for a reason, because they are not the same thing and they express different ideas.

All Americans need to face austerity or the republic is doomed. It just so happens the wealthy can weather it better but ask yourself and be honest, why are they wealthy and not me? Envy is a sin.

That would be consistent with Trump having a golden toilet, and the MAGA elites electing to go to Ivy League universities, while lecturing the slack jawed MAGA base to make do with less, and don't bother with college.

True, I would say no one needs a doll or a pencil. I do think people need dinner, or at least a meal every once in a while.

Link us up so some time and place that Trump told anyone not to go to college. Back up your claim that Trump tells folks not to go to college but went to college himself... We'll wait for your evidence.

"Need" has nothing to do w/ it.

His example is an absurd way to tell Americans that they won't be able to afford as much - because his economy sucks. It's like if Biden saying "no one HAS to eat eggs" last year.

And everything was supposed to be amazing on Day 1. He said in his campaign that the market would crash if Harris was elected - not him.

Talking about how many dolls someone might need (or not need) has little to do with whether or not they eat. You are really random in thought in this thread. Just throwing stuff out hoping something sticks? What's the goal, here, Jarod?

You just demonstrate that you do not understand what he said, and are willing to replace what he said with what you want him to have said...

This is just strawman nonsense. What he said wasn't about what was affordable, what he said was what may or may not be available. These things are different form each other.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other. That's hairsplitting.

I wrote that MAGA elites are telling their slack jawed base that higher education isn't worth it, and it may even indoctrinate you into Marxism.

Your MAGA compatriots on this board have written thousands of times that higher education isn't worth it, it only teaches Woke and Communism, and you'd be better off being a welder or carpenter.

No, it is not. The words are different from each other because they mean different things. Now if they were synonyms I'd agree, and you would be talking to someone else as I wouldn't be asking questions or pointing out inconsistencies. Instead I'm in here, pointing out the difference in meaning between two very different, however they are both simple, words.

Having what you need is surviving.
A life of mere survival is a net-negative experience, plain and simple.

Actually living requires having some things that you want.
People should understand that before they endeavor to procreate,
often in so doing repeating the irresponsible mistake of their own parents.

All of this is non-sequitur in this thread, but most folks would agree with the truisms listed.

Yet you pretend that someone that goes to college and doesn't tell others not to is an example of this hypocrisy. So, again. Tell me when and where Trump ever suggested you should not go to college. If you do that, I'll agree with your example, it will be hypocrisy.

You say: Trump went to an elite college, but MAGA says you shouldn't! And I ask, is Trump part of this hypocrisy? Has he told you not to go to an elite college?

You say: Well, no. But MAGA says it!

I point out, if Trump is the source of MAGA and does not say that, you may be pointing out hypocrisy among the wrong group. It isn't MAGA that tells you not to go to college... Now if you had one of those circle graphs that Kamala loves so much, you might find some crossover from "MAGA" and folks who think this, but it isn't a MAGA thing.

Trump has proposed things like Green Cards for folks that have graduated from a US college (even Junior Colleges or what others call Community Colleges)... He seems to want folks to go to college, his actions undercut what you say is "MAGA"...

I'm talking more about the concept that it doesn't matter if it's affordability or availability - Trump's policies are having a negative impact on what people can purchase.
