The Space Force.

My hate, Reds cutting taxes on the wealthy and corporations giving us a cavernous wealth gap that is starving the treasury.

The Space Force.
Actually, a space force makes more sense than a separate air force. The USAF should be part of the US Army. After all the Air Force supports land warfare for the most part. The Space Force is supposed to fight in space. The Navy does sea warfare. That makes sense.

The USAF really doesn't have a separate job from the Army.

How much fighting in space is the US expecting to do?

Our air warfighters were part of the US Army until 1947.

Explanation?
I want to know what the Space Force does that hasn't been done before by other departments or branches.
As much as we have to. Being unprepared seems unwise.
I think that's an odd position to take by a party that wants to shrink government. I'm still looking for actuals costs but this is what they're spending money on.

"The five-year plan for establishing the Space Force includes creating a headquarters within the Pentagon (fiscal year 2020), transferring select missions and units to the USSF (FY 2021–2022), and eventually developing new ways to organize, train, and equip its forces (2023–2024).

In 2020, funding went towards the operation to establish its headquarters. This ramp up period allowed the USSF to establish the necessary “policies, procedures, and systems to operate.”

In 2021, funding expanded with the transfer of missions, forces, and programs that had been planned to begin one year after its establishment. This year’s budget included procurement as well as research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E), which constituted 67% of the total budget proposal. The 2024 budget request is similarly allocated with 64% of the Space Force budget covering RDT&E."

Going by your other answer, maybe the Air Force could be expanded to do those things. IOW, somebody is doing all that now.
They basically are an expansion of the A.F.
So if you’re against the space force why wouldn’t you be against the expansion of the A.F. that does the same thing?
You make no sense but whatever.

Because you wouldn't be using the same amount of money to expand an existing force than you would to start up a whole new one from scratch. You had your own business, it should be obvious to you.

No, they are not. A Space force would fight outside Earth's atmosphere in a separate theater of warfare. That is what should determine their being a separate service. The two planetary militaries are an army and navy. The army fights on land, the navy at sea--two distinct theaters of operation. In support both need air forces that can cover them from above. You take and hold the sky (atmosphere) by taking / controlling the land or water below it.
