I've had to point out mistakes on prints to the architects. It's fairly common.

Once they replaced draftsmen with computer geeks, there was nobody to notice the errors before they made it to the prints.

Yeah, I was a CAD drafter for several years. About the time I switched from working at a drawing board to sitting behind a computer, was about the time I began to stop enjoying my work anymore.

It was fun at first, but eventually it just turned into drudgery.

Something about laying out a drawing on "paper" (vellum) and drawing things by hand that gives one a much better feel for the object one is designing. Drawing on a computer screen just gives one less of a "feel" for how things fit together.

What I found after doing it long enough, was that the only real benefits to CAD were in making changes/corrections and storing drawings of finished projects.

But it really sucked all the enjoyment and satisfaction out of creating drawings by hand.

Turned it from an art into just another desk job.

The party had nothing to do with it, by law, the ballots had been printed, so the name could not be removed. The same thing would happen if it was a Republican who had died.

FWIW, I've been online since the 80s. On forums since the 90s and used socks around the 00s, but quickly tired of them. Too much work for too little gain and if caught, a proven liar, so I stopped using them by 2005ish.

To even become governor in the first place, DeSantis had to eke out a victory as an underdog mostly on the back of Trump's hard campaigning for him. Florida has since addressed the shenanigans in Broward and Miami Dade counties, and now with Trump's diverse coalition of working class citizens, Florida is now reaping the benefits of free and fair elections.

In other states, such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Washington, and even to a slightly lesser extent in my state of Wisconsin, it is a losing strategy for Republicans to keep going after 'voters' while Democrats are instead solely going after 'ballots'. In order for Republicans to acquire key positions of power in those states again, they will have to start doing likewise.

In states such as those, especially since covid tyranny illegally changed the rules, the 'voter' truly doesn't matter anymore. People in these states cannot win by "voting harder". (S)elections in states such as these are purely a 'ballot acquisition' game at this point, and until Republicans can get themselves back into positions of power where they can fix this issue, they have to stop their losing strategy of going after the 'voter' and immediately start adjusting to and embracing the "new rule" of going after the 'ballot'.
