On the campaign trail he was always lucid.

The debate required him to process information and respond in a short period of time. I would hope most Senators are a little pensive before voting.

Walker is just intellectually lazy, like his buddy, twump. Like twump, he's sure his "winning personality" makes him able to fake his way through anything without having to learn anything.

I feel a major part of what lost the GOP that race was all the cruel piling on Fetterman's health issues, due to this stroke. People have grown tired of that shit. Folks on this forum are still doing it, totally thinking we won't notice Walker in GA - a man barely able to speak.

There must be cheating if their candidates didn't win.

We're seeing the last dying gasps of trumpism. It had a decent run, but Republicans are finally taking the leap and speaking out.

Most notably because the candidates that he supported in the primaries cost them seats across all politics.

Now they can simply make the argument that opting for a trump candidate over a mainstream Republican is a vote for the Democrat candidate.

Shame they're coming to their senses. trump was very good for Dems.

The stroke, especially after the debate, is what closed the gap.

In the end, people were willing to take a chance on someone who has represented Pa. in politics for years, over someone who has lied his way to fame as a snake oil salesman.

It's the intelligent choice.

Because his name was still on the ballot due to the law, and they obviously didn’t want the other candidate to win. It’s happened in other elections as well.

There will be a special election to fill the seat.
