I learned Judith can't be convinced until early 20th Century warming is explained to her. I'm no one to tell her but I believe the explanation is the warming is understood to be part of the warming trend we are still in, largely due to green house gasses. The more interesting question may be what accounts for the mid century cooling. Maybe you could help her there, and she might learn something.
