How would you address the fact that they'd been doing it for 10 years and believed they were shooting in a safe manner?

The fact that the shooters hit Stanley Reinhold's house clearly shows they were not shooting in a safe manner. The fact that they thought they were is proof that they do not know how to shoot safely. That proves my point that they need to be educated on proper firearm safety. Whether they had done it for 10 years or 100 years is irrelevant.

Greenville Police are investigating the shooting of a 4-year-old boy.


Police responded to a shots fired call at the Motel 6 on Greenville Boulevard.


They found a 4-year-old boy had been shot.


Police say that the boy's father was in the room with 4 children, and that a rifle was lying on the floor near the bed.


Police say one of the children handled the rifle causing it to go off and strike the 4-year-old.

The victim was rushed to San Francisco General Hospital where he later died.

I'd post some of the article, but all it has in it is a couple of cops whining about how they feared for their lives against this dangerous monster that engaged in a gun battle with them as they raided his home. oh, and the obvious tilt towards cops being the 'good guys'.
