I have a question for my gunner friends.

Has anyone had any experience with the Bersa Thunder in .380? My wife likes the little gun, and I thought I would ask before I get one. They aren't expensive but I wanted to make sure they aren't cheaply made. I know there have been advances in ammo so the .380 can do the trick.

Anyone?

A Visalia man was clinging to life and two other people were injured after an early-morning shooting Wednesday at a north Visalia apartment complex.


Witnesses said two men, at least one armed with a shotgun, approached three people who were sitting and drinking beer in a parking lot of the complex about 2:30 a.m.


At least six to eight shots were fired before the assailants ran away…

Chicago police are questioning several people in connection with a drive-by shooting that injured two young girls, ages 2 and 7.





The 7-year-old, Jocelyn Rodriguez, is in critical condition at Children's Memorial Hospital.


The 2-year-old is in fair condition.


Witnesses say the girls were shot as they played near a sprinkler at Avondale Park.

Bersas are very very nice. Should have gotten one a few years ago, they're now more appropriately priced. Before they were practically a steal
 
Canon City Police said a shooting on Elizabeth Street is an apparent murder-suicide.




Police said two people died, and witnesses are reporting one man shot the other before shooting himself.




"There was one individual that had at least two gunshot wounds, and there was one individual who was deceased from a single gunshot wound," Capt. Allen Cooper with the Canon City Police Department said.

A four-year-old male from Buldra Lane in Aiken, SC was pronounced dead on arrival at Aiken Regional Medical Centers (ARMC) Thursday night.

Kavionne Brabham was transported to ARMC by Aiken County EMS after receiving a fatal gunshot wound to the head.


About 9:00 p.m. Thursday night, according to witnesses the child was looking for his new shoes when he discovered an unsecured 38-cal. revolver under a bed in the house where he resides.


He pointed the weapon at himself and discharged the weapon.

Five adult gray seals have been found shot to death on Cape Cod beaches in what appears to be the largest number of purposefully shot marine mammals in at least three decades across the region.




The seals were found on beaches from Dennis to Chatham in the last six weeks by the International Fund for Animal Welfare’s marine mammal rescue and research team.




Beachgoers first reported the seals as stranded and as rescue workers examined the first two animals, they found signs of gunshot wounds.




As a result, all subsequent seal strandings were examined more closely and an additional three seals were found shot.
