Lauderhill Police are investigating the death of a teen whose body was discovered inside the doorway of his home by his uncle Thursday morning.




The gruesome discovery was made around 7:20 a.m. in the 7000 block of Sienna Ridge Lane, police said.





Although the 19-year-old appeared to suffer from a gunshot wound, police say no one heard gunshots.

A Munford, TN, man is in stable condition at The MED after Tipton County sheriff's deputies say his wife shot him in the upper torso.




The shooting happened Monday just after noon in the 300 block of Joe Joyner Road.





Deputies say Fred Patrick and his wife Christine were in the middle of a domestic fight at their home in the Pine Grove Mobile Home Community.




They say Christine told their five-year-old son to go next door and call 911. Not long after, deputies say she shot her husband. Neighbors say he was face-down in the front yard.

A Kansas City woman was arrested Monday night, accused of shooting her husband in the genitals with his handgun.




When police officers arrived at 1130 E. 76th Terrace, a witness told police she heard the couple arguing in the kitchen, with the wife telling her husband, “If you don’t give me my card, I will shoot you.”




A short time later, the witness said she heard a gunshot and called the police.




When officers arrived, the victim, 50, told them he had been shot in his penis.

20-year-old Marcus White, of Samsula, Florida heard noises outside the camper he was in with his father, 50-year-old Douglas White.


Marcus was afraid someone was trying to break into the camper so he took his father's handgun from its holster and went to see if anyone was there.


As he turned around, still holding the gun in his hand, he unintentionally pulled the trigger, firing a bullet that struck his father in the back as he slept in a nearby bed.


Douglas was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 5 year old Bossier City child was killed in what police have ruled an accidental shooting.


Just before 8 p.m. Thursday night, police were called to a home in the 2600 block of Palmetto Dr.


According to police, the child found a loaded handgun in a cabinet and accidentally shot himself.


The child's mother was reportedly at home with the child at the time of the incident, but allegedly was not aware that there was a gun inside the home.


The child was taken to LSU Medical Center, but died at the hospital as a result of the gunshot wound.

Mount Airy's police chief and a captain were hit by shotgun pellets when a woman fired at them Friday morning, authorities in Surry County said.




The woman died, although it was not immediately clear whether she was killed when police returned fire or she killed herself.

A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed Friday morning in central Toledo. Police say the suspect is still on the loose. Neighbors say Montelle was a good kid and may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.


Around 1:30 Friday morning, Toledo police say they found Taylor lying in the street.

Police detectives are investigating an overnight shooting after a man showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound in the thigh.


Jervon Witcher told police he was shot at 11:45 p.m.


Witcher is recovering at Mercy Saint Vincent Medical Center.


His condition has not been released.

At about 2 a.m., a woman heard gunshots as she was standing outside her residence. She saw a green and gold station wagon driving toward her with several men inside.
