A 19-year-old man was injured in a gang-related shooting Friday night, police said.




The teen was walking when a sedan pulled up near him, police said.




A man got out of the car and fired two or three shots at the victim, then got back into the car and fled.




The teenager told police he ran and then hid under a car, when he realized he was shot.

A retired Army Sergeant Major fired a gunshot in an apparent attempt to kill himself at the Wright-Patterson Medical Center, according to a statement from base officials.


Wright-Patt security forces responded to the Medical Center after the man entered the emergency room with a 9mm handgun.

A Jackson man is dead after an overnight shooting.



Police said shortly after 11 p.m. an argument between two men turned deadly outside of a gas station on Bowling Street.



Once on the scene, officers noticed a subject laying on the ground.



He was identified as Robert Strahan.



The 31 year old was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Amarillo police continue investigating the shooting death of a man.



Police say the shooting occurred on the 27 hundred block of Center Avenue.





When officers arrived they found 31-year-old Noland Hill Jr, lying on the front porch with multiple gunshot wounds.



Hill was later pronounced dead at Northwest Texas Hospital.

Two men were killed and a third was injured in a daylight shooting on the streets of North Philadelphia yesterday.

Police said that the men were on Oxford Street near 24th when they were fired upon about 3 p.m.

The first victim, a 30-year-old man, was shot once in the head, three times in the chest and twice in his left arm.

He was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital at 3:37 p.m.
