Police in Lancaster have charged a teenager with attempted murder after they say an argument between the teens ended in shooting.


According to a release from the Lancaster Police Department, officers were called to a home on the 100 block of Hazel Street around 10:45 p.m. Saturday night. Officers say they found 18-year-old Shaquille Lashaun Robinson with a gunshot wound.


Officers say Robinson suffered severe injury to his right forearm, right groin, right buttock and femoral artery. He was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center, where police say he is in critical condition.

A 15-year-old male was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his thumb.



A sheriff's report said he had been fishing near Blackwater River and shooting water moccasins when the shotgun he was using blew up.

The boy's mother's boyfriend, another man and another juvenile were present at the time of the injury.


The mother's boyfriend said he had shot the gun just before the incident, and he stated the shot hurt his left thumb.


He then passed the gun to the juvenile...

Deputies in Anderson County are investigating a shooting that happened early Monday morning.




According to an incident report, a deputy responding to another call heard about six gunshots coming from bar on Shockley Ferry Road.






He responded to the scene and said he saw a man collapsed on the edge of the roadway, face down.






The deputy, according to the incident report, noticed what appeared to be a gunshot to the man's chest.






At this time, deputies say paramedics responded to the scene and starting helping the victim.






Officials said the deputy then went inside the bar, where he met another man with a gunshot wound.

Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray announced Monday that a 13-year-old boy was fatally shot in the 300 block of South Orange Avenue in Newark late Sunday night.




At approximately 11:30 p.m. police responded to a report of shots fired.




The victim, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds, has been identified as Dante Young, 13, of Newark.




He was transported to University Hospital and pronounced dead at 11:40 p.m.

A Tehama County man is in jail after reportedly firing at another driver in Red Bluff.

Red Bluff Police arrested Scott Alan Duffer, 26, after his car broke down about a mile and a half from the scene of the shooting near Paskenta and Live Oak Roads.


According to the victim, Lucas Eugene Simpson, and other witnesses, Duffer fired at Simpson several times with a handgun...

A woman involved in a double shooting at Morgan's Point June 13 has died.


Bell County Sheriff's Deputies arrived at a camper trailer to find Emilio Ybarra, 57, dead and Mary Ybarra, 57, in critical condition after someone called Temple Police saying there had been a shooting.


Mary was flown to Scott & White Hospital and was put on life support.


According to the Bell County Sheriff's Office all indications are this was a murder-suicide.

John Ellis, an optometrist from Pittsburgh, PA, was vacationing with his wife and two daughters in Hill City, South Dakota.



The family was watching a reenactment of a Wild West shootout when Ellis fell to the ground, clutching his bloodied elbow.


Two other tourists were shot and injured during the show.


Carrol Knutson of Minnesota was shot in the leg and Jose Pruneda of Nebraska suffered a flesh wound.

Two juvenile males were wounded in a shooting Sunday night as they were standing in front of one of their homes, police said Monday.



The 16 year old victims were taken to Cooper University Hospital and South Jersey Healthcare-Regional Medical Center, each with a gunshot wound.


Witnesses and evidence gathered from the scene led police to believe that two men drove up to the youths in a small, dark colored sport utility vehicle. The two men got out of the vehicle and started shooting...

A man accused of threatening to harm his children and pointing a gun at a deputy died Monday from a self-inflicted gunshot.




According to a Hernando County Sheriff's Office press release, deputies received a call at roughly 8:11 a.m. that Rhoads was seen putting guns into his vehicle while threatening to harm his children....






Rhoads pointed a weapon at a responding deputy who attempted to stop his vehicle while near Parson Road. Deputies then lost sight of his vehicle...




However, roughly two hours later, Citrus County Sheriff's Office officials contacted HCSO and advised they found Rhoads' body along with his vehicle...

A 14-year-old California girl who was gravely wounded after she and her mother were shot by a man they moved 350 miles to hide from has been taken off life support.



Del Norte County Sheriff's Cmdr. Bill Steven says Cecilia Mortenson was removed from life support after her organs were harvested for donation.




Authorities say 60-year-old Jerry Wayne Steele shot the girl and her mother at a trailer park in Crescent City, near the Oregon border. He then killed himself at a nearby beach parking lot.




Steven says the mother survived and has been released from the hospital.




Steele had been facing child molestation charges in Santa Clara County and was under a restraining order to stay away from the girl.




Authorities say the mother and daughter recently moved to Crescent City from the San Francisco Bay area to hide from Steele...

A man shot in an officer-involved shooting at E. 93rd Street and Kinsman Avenue late Monday afternoon has died.




A police officer recognized a motorcycle involved in a hit-and-run on Sunday on the back of a Northeast towing truck.




Police approached the tow truck and a passenger got out of the truck and ran towards the officer.




The officer and suspect collided and the officer's gun shot the man in the neck. The police officer has unspecified injuries.

A Manayunk man fatally shot his wife late Monday afternoon, according to Philadelphia Police.


The Philadelphia Police Department said that the man, who lived in the 100 block of Markle Street, fatally shot his 64-year-old wife in their home.


The names of the man and woman have yet to be released by officials.
