Police were at the scene at a home on Elizabeth St. off Thompson Ave. before 8 a.m. Saturday.




One officer reported that a man was deceased from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.




A woman was reported down with a gunshot wound but officers said she was still breathing.




She was transported to Glens Falls Hospital by Lake George EMS.

Several people had arrived at Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds.








Two men succumbed to their injuries early Saturday morning.




Their identities will not be released until the families are notified.

Three young party guests, ages 18, 14, and 13, suffered gunshot wounds late Friday night while attending a birthday and graduation celebration at the intersection of Lan Ark Drive and Kyle Court in Stockton, authorities said.




Police reported that when a fight broke out among party guests and a group of unknown men who may have been asked to leave earlier, and then an unidentified shooter began firing into the crowd, striking the victims.




The 18-year-old victim suffered gunshot wounds to his abdomen, both arms, and both legs. The-14-year old victim was shot in the left ankle, and the 13-year-old victim was shot in the lower right leg.

Police are investigating a shooting on the city’s northwest side. It happened just before 4:30 Saturday morning at 683 Lake Avenue, which is a Wendy’s restaurant.




Police were called to that address for a report of a fight.

An 18th birthday celebration was marred by tragedy Saturday morning, when a 19-year-old Soquel man was shot and killed just after midnight at a residence near the Watsonville Municipal Airport, according to sheriff's Lt. Fred Plageman.




The victim was shot at close range, possibly by more than one person, as the victim and other guests left a single-family residence on the 200 block of Manfre Road, which parallels the western edge of the airport, Plageman said.

People living at the Hunters Oaks Apartments (7591 W. Highway 98) in West Pensacola called 911 after hearing gunshots around 9:30 a.m. Witnesses say a man and a woman were arguing in their apartment.



The man shot at her and she ran to another nearby apartment.




He chased after her. The people who live in that apartment ran out.




They heard several gunshots.



“Our patrol deputies were unable to make contact with the suspect or victim inside the apartment," said sheriff’s office spokesman Chris Welborn. “Our SWAT and Hostage Negotiations Teams were then called out.”




SWAT deputies made entry into the apartment around 11:00 a.m.




They found 33-year-old Teva Bradley suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and the body of a 27-year-old woman.




Bradley was transported to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

One man is dead and three others are injured following three shootings that happened late Saturday night and early Sunday morning in Milwaukee.




Police said a 22-year-old man was shot in the leg around 9:30 p.m. Saturday near 33rd and Auer.






Around 1:00 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to reports of a shooting near 2nd and Keefe.





A 33-year-old man was inside a tavern when a bullet entered the building through a wall, hitting him in the neck.




The man was taken to a local hospital.



30 minutes later, a 27-year-old man showed up at another hospital with a gunshot wound to the back.






Shortly after 2:00 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to the 1300 block of W. Madison Street.





They found a 19-year-old man dead.




Officers said he had been shot several times.

A Tampa police officer shot a man who was reportedly suicidal and pointing his weapon at police.


Police spokeswoman Laura McElroy says 74-year-old Umberto Ferrara's family called police early Tuesday to report that he was depressed and armed.


Officers arriving on the scene reported hearing gunshots before finding Ferrara sitting on a porch, bleeding from a head wound and firing a gun.


Officer Dan Evers shot Ferrara when the man pointed a gun at him.

A woman from Kenner, La., a suburb near New Orleans, was found dead inside her home by her husband Tuesday, lying atop the bodies of her three children, all of whom had died from apparent gunshot wounds.

Two neighborhoods were trying to comprehend Wednesday how youngsters in their communities became the city's latest gunshot victims.




Both incidents, while different in nature, involved youths and guns.




They were within two hours of each other.




Police believe Lilianna Moore, 3, found a gun between two mattresses at her home and fatally shot herself in the head. Police said she was unattended but others were in the apartment at a six-unit building in the 3800 block of Flad Avenue.




Markeyki Carter, 11, was playing basketball with other boys his age when he was shot in the neck.




Police are looking for a male, believed to be 15 to 18 years old. Markeyki lives with his aunt at the O'Fallon Place Apartments in the 1700 block of Preservation Place, where the shooting occurred.




On Wednesday he was in serious condition, but alert, responding to commands and wiggling his fingers and toes.




Police are investigating both shootings.

A 4-year-old boy died after suffering a gunshot wound Thursday afternoon in the city's Kensington section, police said.


Around 4:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a boy bleeding from the head inside a house in the 600 block of East Clementine Street.




When they arrived, they found Javier Merle Jr. with the head wound. "He's still breathing," an officer told dispatchers.




Medics took Javier to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, where he was pronounced dead at 5:07.
