The earliest episode was also the most violent, leaving one man dead and three in critical condition at Temple University Hospital. It happened shortly before 12:30 a.m., on the 1800 block of North Newkirk Street in the city's Brewerytown section.
Aaron Tucker, 28, who lived on the block, was pronounced dead at the scene a few minutes later. He had been shot in the head.
Critically injured were a 42-year-old, shot in the face; a 27-year-old shot in the chest; and another 27-year-old, shot in the back.
