A 53-year-old Vallejo man was shot to death after allegedly pulling a replica handgun on police officers after they ordered him to drop it, officials said.

Lt. Ken Weaver said that the man, who was known to police for drug and alcohol violations, was shot multiple times in the torso on a downtown street after refusing to drop a weapon.

A man is dead after police said he was gunned down in the 2600 block of Southwest 2 Street.

Fort Lauderdale Police said 32-year-old Reggie McClover, 32, was shot by unknown suspects.

McClover was taken to the Broward General Medical Center where he was pronounced dead

Baltimore police pulled over a 22-year-old man for driving the wrong way on a street Saturday when the victim opened up the door and fell out of his vehicle, telling police he had been shot.

Lanell Ausby was taken to Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead...

One man died and another man is in custody after an incident involving a shooting and a car careening into a house.


Fontana police Lt. Robert Ratcliffe said officers responded after several calls about a vehicle crashing into a house in the area of Locust Avenue and Orange Way and shots being fired.


Upon arrival, they found a very confusing scene.


"They find the driver in the vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds," Ratcliffe said.


The driver was taken to a trauma center, where he was pronounced dead...

A 22-year-old man told Omaha police he drove nearly four miles before realizing he had been shot in the leg early today.

He told police he got into an argument with multiple people near 49th and Hickory Streets.

He heard a gunshot but didn't realize he had been hit until he reached 45th and P Streets, police said.

A 32-year-old man was shot to death in the parking lot of a Bradenton strip club, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

About 12:20 a.m., deputies responded to DaVinci's nightclub, 105 Cortez Road W., where they found Natividad Faudoa in the parking lot.

He was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead...

About 2:12 a.m., officers from the Jackson Police Department responded to a call for a possible shooting on E. Prospect Street in Jackson.

Sgt. Dave Stadelman said officers were called to 439 E. Prospect St., just outside the American Legion Sauk Trail Post, where witnesses said they heard six to seven gunshots.

When they arrived on the scene, there were several people outside but no one reported seeing anything, said Stadelman.

A short time later, officers were called to Allegiance Health for a gunshot victim...

21-year-old Fabian Gonzalez was shot to death in New York City early Saturday.

Gonzalez was shot in the upper torso and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

His cousin, who is from the Bronx, was shot in the right calf.

A 24-year-old man was found shot to death early Monday at a campground in Boulder County, the sheriff's office said.

It appears the victim was accidentally shot, but the circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear, sheriff's office spokesman Jason Oehlkers said.

Oehlkers said the victim had been shot in the face.

A party on the city's east side turned deadly when gunfire erupted after a dispute, fatally wounding one man.


An argument broke out at the gathering in the 4000 block of Belvidere, said Sgt. Eren Stephens of the Detroit Police Department.


A man in his 30s who had left the party "came back and fired shots into the home," she said.


Two men inside returned fire, striking the man outside, Stephens said.


The man, who has not been named, later was pronounced dead.

Friends of a man shot to death early Monday in Springfield say he was a hero for shielding other people who were being fired upon by a gunman.

Quinton Harden, 20, was struck by a bullet in the head outside a home in the 1200 block of North 14th Street at 3:37 a.m. Monday.

A man who lives on the block where the shooting took place said someone fired about a dozen bullets at nine people standing outside the home.

One of the bullets struck Harden in the head while he was shielding a woman on the porch and urging others to get inside, the man said.

Police said another bullet struck a 33-year-old woman...

Patrons in the tiki bar of a boutique hotel in Osprey saw a man shoot another man in the head, take a drink from behind the bar, then walk out, leaving his gun on a table, Sarasota County deputies said.


Michael W. Rice, 23, was arrested shortly after the shooting and charged with first-degree murder in the death of Philippe A. Nahon.
