Biden Said, "Come Get Them"; Trump Said, "Go Fuck Yourself"

No double standard exists in the special counsel's decision not to indict Biden for possessing classified documents, as Trump has been charged with. Trump had multiple opportunities to avoid prosecution by giving the documents back, but he spurned them all, either denying he had them or claiming they belonged to him.

Somehow this distinction seems to have escaped Senator Hawley.

Joe still broke a number of laws regarding the documents...the cooperation factor doesn't figure into the situation, however...if a bank robber delivers the money to the police, he's still charged. Unless he's deemed mentally deficient and most likely unable to stand trial...

Concentrate, Marty.

This is the crime that Biden committed:

"Willfully retained AND disclosed classified material"

A double standard and a two tiered justice system.

Poor Marty.

We have a POTUS, the Commander-in-Chief, the holder of the nuclear codes, who is not mentally competent to stand trial.

How can he be mentally incompetent and remain as president?

Let the 25th Amendment proceedings begin.

a person's reaction to prosecution should not be weighed in their prosecution.

that's dum dum stuff.

If Biden is mentally incompetent to stand trial, he should be institutionalized.

That’s what would happen if someone who is mentally incompetent committed a crime.

Yes, maybe Trump should have been arrested out of the gate. Instead, when The National Archives realized documents were missing it simply sent a letter to Trump politely asking he return them. Only when Trump refused to cooperate was Justice brought in. Biden received the same opportunity, nothing more, nothing less.

president trump took them as president.

he was covered under the presidential records act.

biden was not.

that's an important distinction.

trump did nothing illegal, biden did.

By your silly lights, Pence should also be charged. Did your "niece" who is a lawyer tell you this, or was it on Newsmax? lol

The legal concept of insufficient evidence escapes our Reichtard friends completely. But you still get credit for trying.

It seems to have escaped all the MAGAts.

And so did Pence, who also complied willingly and without obstruction. Funny how the MAGATs always leave him out of the documents equation, isn't it? Guess he's become a nobody since he refused to cooperate with #TRE45ON's attempted insurrection and coup.

They also fail to mention, Trump was not charged for the documents he returned. If he had returned all of them, he wouldn’t have been charged, just like Biden and Pence weren’t charged.

Indeed, TOP.

Read the report...Joe should be charged. They're excusing him for being too compromised to be tried...Spending 5 hours trying to question him confirmed that...

“Willfully retained AND disclosed classified material"

Both are crimes committed by the turnip in the White House.

If he is not competent to stand trial for his crimes, how is he competent to be president?

Exactly. Even a hostile RW special counsel agreed that in Biden's case, there was no chargeable crime. That's what the MAGATs are *really* butt-hurt about. Failed impeachment, failed attacks on his son, failed document charges... it goes on and on. So far I haven't seen any of them explain why, if Biden is as bad as they claim, no (R)s have attempted to remove him via the 25th Amendment. Isn't that what it's for?
