Real ID was passed in 2005 and now 20 years later is about to be fully implemented. But Biden / Harris want another two year delay. What Real ID would do is make it impossible for anyone here illegally to enter a federal building or fly on a plane, among other things, as they can't get one. Employers could use it as a quick means to identify someone ineligible for employment. It could also become used by states for voter ID requirements.

All of that goes hard against Biden / Harris's open borders policies.

I understand the dishonesty of Rightys in general and Trumpys in specific. Voter ID targets people who are most likely to vote Democratic. There is no problem whatsoever with people using others' ballots. It does not happen. In order to register, you have to show ID. You cannot submit a registration without checking ID. What is gained by repeated demands for ID? it cuts Dem votes. If it hurt rightys , the Repubs would not mention ID.

You are aware that States have their own real ID programs, correct?

And I thought MAGA was all about leaving it up to the States?
