I don't buy any of it. It all reminded me of so many that we've seen before, going back to Jimmy Swaggart's tearful "I have sinned against you!" Bull; the only reason you have any public emotion whatsoever on the topic is because you GOT CAUGHT. And for that, your wife gets to flay herself in public, as well?
Chris Matthews - I know, we all hate him - went on for awhile yesterday about how Spitzer is a superdelegate, and that this shows they're just people, and why should we trust their judgment over average voters? It was probably a stretch, but he was kind of right. How does any politician, in this day & age, take part in a high-price prostitution ring & think that somehow, that's not going to get exposed at some point?
