Okay, you implied the Confucians were rigid, boring, humorless.

The fact is, the classic Confucian education included sports, archery, horsemanship, poetry, dance, painting, calligraphy. The Confucian model was that of the well rounded gentleman.

^^ if that is what you call a boring ascetic life, it was reasonable for me to conclude you align with the drunken partying frat boy model that is assumed to come from Epicurus.

I have had no substantial conversations here about ZEN....I did once have with someone a long conversation about what I call Zen Socialism over at DP, but that was DP.

Nobody here has ever been interested enough to enquire as to what I believe.

This is where my life is at the moment...running too rich.
