Sen. Tom Cotton, Arkansas Republican, urged the Biden administration to crack down on the pro-Palestinian protesters who vandalized statues and threw objects at a park ranger during Saturday’s protest near the White House.
Protesters at the Answer Coalition’s “Stop the Genocide in Gaza” demonstration spray-painted anti-Israel and anti-Biden messages on statues at Lafayette Park, then pelted and shouted “f—- you, fascist” at a park ranger standing guard.

Among those disgusted at the conduct was Mr. Cotton, who challenged the Biden administration to enforce federal law by bringing charges against the vandals.

How Stupid is Tom Cotton? You would think as a US Senator he should know that the DoJ is supposed to be independent from the White House.
If he wants people indicted he should be asking the DoJ, not the White House. But then he would have to tell his fellow GOP idiots to stop trying to defund the DoJ.

In any case, I am not a fascist or a communist. l am a capitalist who can see that the way we are dealing with capitalism has got to be repaired. We are allowing it to ruin the economic health of the general public. Socialism has profited immensely by borrowing and incorporating elements of capitalism. We should do the same thing in reverse.

If we want to charge people for defacing federal statutes maybe the DoJ should start with you. (I realize you meant statues.)

It has taken up to 3 years or more to indict some people for Jan 6th. Maybe you should have some patience and shut up so the DoJ can do their job. They don't indict people 3 days after they commit a crime when it takes time to collect the evidence to bring the indictments. Maybe if you could provide the video showing the person that did the defacing, it might help speed up the indictments. The DoJ can't charge anyone that didn't commit a crime with defacing statues.

Under Article II of the Constitution, the President is responsible for the execution and enforcement of the laws created by Congress.

Or are you saying Biden should make sure that the DoJ prosecutes former Presidents that stole classified documents and then refused to return them when asked?
