It all depends on how the mods look at it.
I've been following the whole discussion and have dealt with being reported when it's silly. I've been reminded of the rule and told it was not considered a violation.

He's a good guy but he takes too much offense sometimes. I've tried to reign him in a few times in as friendly a manner I can.
