That was an amazing comeback. F you LA and F you Dallas. About to renew arguably the best playoff rivalry in football next weekend. Taking out the Cowboys.

My Patriots stumbled into ten wins in seventeen tries,
and that, in this pathetic world, is good enough for access into the post season tournament.

Nobody walking down Boylston Street is expecting a seventh Lombardi Trophy this year.

Where have you gone, Tom Brady?
The Old Commonwealth turns its lonely eyes to you.

Haha, I was rooting for a tie, but, Stafford went full Detroit on you guys. This fucking division.

I swear, no one was trying to win this week, except for Buffalo. Packers, Patriots, Colts, etc. Even Tuberculosis looked like they might choke on Carolina until Brady came out firing in the second half.

I honestly thought the Raiders were gonna let that game end in a tie

We know they hate the Steelers...

What a great day of games yesterday. "Is the NFL still in buisness" indeed. Between church services and after evening services until 11:30 or so last night. Great, meaningful games. What a day.

Not intending to bust the thread, but just as an addendum to our exchange the other day on college football:

Just wanted to point out again that money is the common denominator, “only a small handful of programs outside the SEC are equipped to win the national championship in terms of ……. institutional willingness to throw almost unlimited funds at their football product.”

Neither San Fran or Dallas was as bad as they looked in their losses this year! Both had injuries and covid problems this year, as all teams did.

They both have about as much chance at winning the title as any other team in the playoffs.

I believe it will be a good matchup and playoff game no matter who wins it.

This is about the best chance either Dallas or San Fran will have in winning the title in over 25 years. Best of luck to both teams!

Green Bay has struggled just like everyone else this year to stay the top seed.

It always comes down to who wants it the most on game day- WITH A LITTLE LUCK!

Dallas/Green Bay is a bigger rivalry than Dallas / S.F.

I don't expect the niners to even give Dallas a competitive game

40 years ago today, "The Catch". (Not even a competitive game? We'll revisit this post next Sunday.)

Some programs have "unlimited funds"!
