God isn't a persona. It is a made up thing. Made up so people can justify whatever evil they may care to perform.

God doesn't exist. So it hasn't given me anything. As for being free from consequences, I don't know what judaism teaches. But jesus said all you had to do was to ask for forgiveness and you would be forgiven. Having been forgiven = no consequences.

Jesus Christ never made any such statement. But of course you belong to the Church of No God, so your own fundamentalism gets in your own way when reading the Bible.

The whole idea of being lifted into heaven after death- was totally based on a couple of so-called eye-witnesses of saying they saw Jesus being lifted into heaven.

OK! SO that explains how Jesus, the son of God was lifted into heaven.

But, has there ever been a witness to declare they ever saw anyone else ever being lifted into heaven- in the entire history of mankind?

God apparently requires some kind of proof of your belief in him- before he will accept you into his Kingdom- but he offers no proof of his own existence even though he apparently expects us to just fall in line by our faith in him alone.

Sorry folks, but this sounds too much like Donald Trump to me- expecting us to have some kind of undying faith in him.

I am beginning to see why the Trumptards have such a difficult time dealing with Science- since Science pretty much depends upon proof.

c. Once forgiven ... you are the king of your cause ... and you sin again
