As a rule I'm very easy to get along with; because someone is far left or far right or even moderate an do not agree with me I don't take it personal. I've been accused of being a socialist/liberal or conservative/right winger depending on the other persons viewpoint.

Some people look at me strangely since I've never been a member of any political party; unless one comes along (which I seriously doubt) whose platforms I can believe in, I most likely will remain Independent. Nice thing about being an independent is that you generally avoid receiving junk mail/phone calls/donation requests and you get to vote for whomever you want in elections. :)

I've been in Independent since 2012, but still receive tons of junk mail from the Republican party.

I guess once you join, they dump your information into a data base and you get the junk mail. I know my wife switched to Independent early last year and she's still getting junk mail.

Must be so even though I haven't given money since 2000. I did donate to the Libertarian party and receive their stuff, but only a tenth as much.

Because they kill small game for pleasure and shit in your flower beds. That, and they're just plain evil.
Unless you keep them on your own property (and not allowed to roam the neighborhoods day and night), they're running targets. :D
