InstaPoll: Biden Wins.

Linkage for the LOLers:

mmediately after the vice presidential debate, CBS News interviewed a nationally representative sample of nearly 500 debate watchers, assembled by Knowledge Networks, who were "uncommitted voters" - voters who are either undecided about who to vote for or who have a preference but say they could still change their minds.

Forty-six percent of these uncommitted viewers said Biden won the debate Thursday night, while 21 percent said Palin won. Thirty-three percent thought it was a tie.

My initial post was in error. My understanding was that the poll was conducted among debate watchers generally. In fact, it was among undecided debate watchers. My apologies.

And here is the poll information at the end of Dungs article:

This CBS News poll was conducted online by Knowledge Networks among a nationwide random sample of 473 uncommitted voters - voters who don’t yet know who they will vote for, or who have chosen a candidate but may still change their minds - who have agreed to watch the debate. Knowledge Networks, a market and public policy research firm based in Menlo Park, CA, conducted the web poll among a sample of adult members of its panel, who are provided web access if they don't already have it. More technical information is available at http://www.knowledgenetworks.com/ganp/reviewer-info.html.

This is a scientifically representative poll of uncommitted voters’ reaction to the presidential debate. The margin of sampling error could be plus or minus 5 percentage points for results based on the entire sample.

This is what makes the poll SCIENTIFICALLY valid. But I don't imagine that Dixie or Major put much stock in that there science shit.

LOL you were posting polls. Granted, I often have a hard time distinguishing you from Majority, Acorn, Southern Man, and other posers. Basically, true and intelligent conservatives like Damo, Cawacko, Superfreak, and Stir tend to stand out to me. I wouldn't suck liberal ass for fear of getting VD, but you just irritate me with all of your southern ignorance.

Posers? You think I am some kind of American loving poser?

Why do you say that?

Posers?---how old are you ?

....That's because the key ingredient in Extenze is proven to make you larger, regardless of age! This is not a gimmick, it's REAL SCIENCE! ....A week's supply of Extenze, for the cost of a postage stamp! If Extenze didn't do something pretty amazing, could we afford to make this offer? You've got nothing to lose, and a LOT to gain!
:lmao:

You have? and you ignore good data like a 80% approval rating in Alaska?

Considering the political makeup of Alaska, it wouldn't surprise me if she got 80 percent in some demographic. Among real Americans, she doesn't do as well. Most people (a majority) believe she's unfit to be president as of yesterday prior to the debate. The number is probably greater now.

And yes, I have. That's how I know statistics is a science and has nothing to do with Dixie being upset that his order of Extenze didn't work. I went to college.

I am watching the debate for the first time. Biden so far is playing it cool by attacking McCain and not Palin. Not that Palin has much to attack. I will say this, if it were a cute contest, Palin would win, hands down. Other than that she looks outmatched.

Name a topic where she is outmatched? Now--biden has more international exp--but what does that say--other countries hate us.

Palin is a energy expert---but they did not want to talk about that--or most any other topic Americans care about.

obama does not stack up to Palin at all. May be in your country he would---but this is not your election.

Note also that Palin's approval rating in Alaska is not at 80% any more. She's slipping there as well. The "good data" is outdated.

She does come off as kind of condescending, though not in Biden's "I'm smarter than you" way. More like "Mommy's knows best honey" way. However, considering who her base is, that is not at all inappropriate.

Right---during the first 10 seconds of the debate, Palin said "Nice to meet you ---is it OK if I call you Joe?" He said it was OK--so I guess she got his permission to disrespect him?

kind of condescending? telling Americans to take more responsibility for themselfs, to not get taken advantage of again. riiiiiiiiiiiiight

you just have no ammo--and your even starting to like Palin--I see it.

dude--name one thing that makes obama more qulified than Palin.

She does not fit the demographic in San Fran or NY or the south side of chicago---but your dead wrong about the rest of America.

Your dreaming--or listening to liberial BS. There were no liberals in the area I grew up in---we are all American. Your---a fucking commie!!, and I don't think you know a damn thing about statistics.

Very well. I should just keep you on ignore but that "view post" link is so damned tempting:

Palin approval rating drops in Alaska

68 PERCENT: Latest poll shows percentage drop from the 80s.

Ask a governor if she'd be happy with a 68 percent approval rating and she'd probably laugh at the question. It usually doesn't get much better than that.

For Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, though, that represents a hefty drop.

Since John McCain tapped the first-term governor to be his vice-presidential running mate, Palin's sky-high home-state approval ratings have come down to Earth.

lets talk about the liberial congress rating? down to earth?

Now---lets pretend that palin is home in Alaska, doing her job for the people right now.

Somebody else is taking over her position right now, and she works like Palin.

Knowing the statistics of how some of the polls you read work--I know better than to consider it fact.

Oh my---the welfare case put me on ignore? what a little bitch.

Hey--somebody show that welfare baby this, from his article.

Ivan Moore, a local pollster, recently found that Palin's support had slipped to 68 percent. The poll was conducted from Sept. 20 to 22 among 500 likely Alaska voters and has a margin of error of 4.4 percent.

Inside those numbers was a dramatic drop in support from Democrats and independents, although support from Republicans remained strong at 93 percent. Among Democrats, her approval rating dropped from 60 percent to 36 percent, a 24-point drop. Among independents, it fell from 82 percent to 64 percent, an 18-point drop.

OK--in this schysters poll--rep voters are at 93%, and only the dem vote significantly dropped?

What do you think the probability is that no republicans changed their minds, and aboput 40% of dem voters did during the two day poll?

This is what happened--they talked to way more dem voters than rep voters, and I bet the pollster even took all undecided (none of those?) and placed them on the nonapproval side.

you liberals can't figure anything out. You can't see a lie--even if your telling it.

dungheap--is a fitting screen name.

Hey majority, you seem like a douche like me. There's this lame chat site called www.gametalk.com and it's about to come back on the internet after taking a six month break to fix up some glitches. And by glitches, I mean being investigated by a watchdog group that you report child porn to. I got a user(Who's name I won't mention...Homicide) to post all of these child porn links on there. Then it suddenly had to "fix some glitches". It was awesome! I also told people about solitary asking several users to meet him in real life for a bbq and showed quotes and links of him proving that he showed up in real life to fight me. He's 48 and most people there are in their teens.

Anyways, that site sucks balls but it's fun to piss off all the idiots there. I must have got 20 people to leave the site forever. And seemingly calm people completely lost it and started acting like trolls, which made the few calm people left hate them. So they stayed trolls or left. What a bunch of idiots! One of them even threatened to sue me! What kind of retard trys to sue you on a chat site that required no personal info whatsoever! When I first got there, there was like 30 normal people. And before the site crashed, 20 of them left and the rest turned into trolls like me.

When I get my new computer, I'll see what's changed there but I bet I can do a repeat. You should visit it. They can't debate at all and it's so easy to push their buttons!
