The war that I have seen opposed by almost every network?

The major topic aside from the War in Afghanistan prior to the Iraq War was the build-up to the Iraq War. Was the media not going to cover it?

I went to three anti-war protests (prior to the Iraq War) in San Francisco (to observe) and saw all three reported by the national media along with numerous other protests around the country.

Sure I get upset when I don't think the media is reporting something the way I would like it seen reported but that doesn't mean the media is reporting irresponsibly or is wrong.

As is MSNBC the anti-Fox... Studies, not made or paid for by the "corporate media" consistently show that there is bias towards the left in the more mainstream media...

Pretty much there is a bias in both directions towards power.

MSNBC has olberman. That's it. He's the only progressive voice on there. Otherwise, MSNBC's lineup is pretty much conservatives and centrists, from Tucker, to Scarbourough, to Mathews.

However, I would get fired in about 5 seconds if I ever put my personal feelings into a piece over the company-line. I was even talking about this the other day to a friend of mine; her boss was fired recently for not enforcing the company-slant to the news.

There are plenty of right-wing workers in the journalism industry, to be sure, but you will never hear from them and you will never hear how they feel.

As to the Iraq War specifically major Democrats both voted for and supported the Iraq War at the start.

As Gonzo and I have both stated if you are coming from such a far left position then yes we agree the media would seem biased to the right to you. However I have seen you defend the Democrats when blackascoal has attacked them from the left. So I don't know where your true position lies.

Phil Donahue was let go because his ratings sucked. Even if they were rising they were still so low that no one would have kept him. Sure he has fans like you but that is obviously a small group.
