Liberals can’t be Christians

Yes. Several times.

I was raised Christian, but I got over it.

Marx is not Christ, Communism is not Christianity.

You are literally the only person who says anything about Marx and Christ. But I suspect Christ would be more inline with a socialist view than he would with a Conservative Republican view of the world. The Bible clearly lays out the various ways in which modern US conservatism is the antithesis of Christian teaching.

I'm curious about the translation you read. Did it have a lot of the pages ripped out?

Not sure how you figure that.

You are literally attacking Christians for not following the precepts of Marxism.

But I suspect Christ would be more inline with a socialist view than he would with a Conservative Republican view of the world.

As I noted - you have recreated Christ in the image of Karl Marx.

You're confusing the Bible with Mein Kampf.

Acts speaks of the Church dabbling in socialism. It was a complete disaster - replete with members being "struck dead" for not surrendering their worldly possessions to the church. This was long after the death of Jesus, of course.

As for Jesus himself - well he never actually existed, but according to the Gospels he was a carpenter - a tradesman, one who sold services for money. It's amusing that the radical left accuses the decent folk of twisting the Bible to fit their views - yet it is really the left doing that - as you show.

My mother was a fanatic for the King James, as a teen the "Living Bible" was all the rage. My mom called it the "Hippy Bible,"

I was a Liberal Christian, and I actually did have to give BOTH of them up.

I gave up Christianity because it was too obvious that the universe in which I exist
is not the creation of a deity that was simultaneously omnipotent and all-loving.

I relabeled myself a progressive democratic socialist because "Liberals" have become too soft.

That figures since Aussies love English Kings. LOL

In the US the most popular version is the NIV.

Despite the resistance to the latest NIV, the Bible translation remains a favorite among many readers, particularly those in the U.S., where the greatest number of units are sold compared to the other 36 countries where Zondervan distributes the translation.

Why not be honest about what you are?

A Nazi....

OK, I'll call. Show me your cards. List these various ways the KJV Bible clearly lays out in which modern US conservatism is the antithesis of Christian teaching.

I'm KJV all the way. I don't recognize other versions.
