If you zoom in and count the number of people from stage in the center of the picture, to the back of the crowd in the lower right of the picture, you get at most 20. A square of that is 400. There are groups of people extending on either side of that square, so we can double that number.

So 800 would be the best estimate.

I'd say between 2,000 and 5,000. I think that's reasonable.

Assuming that picture is accurate, 2,500 would be completely impossible. Maybe 900, but 700 would be more likely than 900. Apparently there was a single line to get into the venue, and that would be nearly impossible with 2,500 people.
