Hereditary Power Is the Well-Hidden Cancer That Has Destroyed All Civilizations

He was a richkid, married to a countess. Engels, another HeirHead, had to bail him out after Marx put his own family through voluntary "romantic" poverty. Then his ignorant ideas put Russia through that, and it wasn't very romantic.

"Heir Head"

I love it. Mind if I steal it?

What do you think economists do, dipshit? They spend 10 years in the academy doing research.

Academy?

BWAHAHAHAHA

Typically, an "economist" would have a masters in economics, 4 years as an undergrad, 2 years of graduate studies, but this depends on the school.

Berkley, for instance offers a Ph.D. in economics, but this is a 6 year program that jumps from the baccalaureate level to the doctoral level - effectively the same level of study that NY Mellon requires for a Masters in economics. Both are 6 years of study.

Most "economists" either teach, work for the government, or very large financial institutions.

What do you consider the most influential book on economics that you've read?

"Green Eggs and Ham?"

Marx critique of capitalism is proving to come true. Marx detailed why society deserves better. That makes Marx both an economist and a sociologist.

Coming true? Not even close to accurate. Marxism failed, utterly, during the 20th century. Most modern socialists have abandoned Marxism.

These socks don't care about the facts.

You are quite short on facts.

You started a thread on a subject you are woefully ignorant of.

The reality, we DO care about the facts - you simply are not dealing in fact. You have zero understanding of Marx. As much as it pains me, I have to admit that even bi-polar is more knowledgeable regarding Marx than you are.

Ever hear of the Forty-Eighters? They played a part in getting Lincoln elected. Most modern socialists are bought off.

One thing I know for fact is that you are a sock.

Marx was an irrelevant academic.
I have to disagree on both counts.

1. I have difficulty referring to a firebrand religious preacher as an "academic."
2. I have difficulty qualifying the founder of major, global religions as "irrelevant."

That ilk is expert at confusing the issues, and channeling them off to dreamy fantasies.
The mark of a (financially) successful preacher.

Both Capitalism and Communism install outside ownership, which is the real problem.
Frankly, I have no idea what this even means. Capitalism is just economics, based on the supply/demand curve. Communism is anarchy, among other things.

Dr. Marx was an infallible father-figure to his gullible students
Karl Marx was the Messiah to his disciples. His message of "You are all victims!" resonated with the vast number of losers who suddenly had victimizers they could blame for their own individual situations besides themselves and their own poor financial decisions.

Wrong. Marx was describing how power operates. He was trying to help people understand.

I don't care whose sock you are, I can tell when someone has to Google their info to have a debate.
What is more likely is that you don't have quite the necessary wherewithall to know what's what ... while nonetheless being convinced you do.

Why should any rational adult pay any heed to Marx's whining and bitching and moaning and sniveling and childish temper tantrums? Why should any rational adult discard sound economic principles as Marx demands? Why has Marxism failed every single time whereas all markets engaging in sound economic principles thrive without exception?

Do you have any insight you can offer?
