Funny that. There is a good article here http://news.yahoo.com/s/bloomberg/20080414/pl_bloomberg/axsbe8n7wrre all about the growth of those that define themselves as independents. New Mexico, Virginia, Colorado and Florida have all had enough of a shift to be considered purple. Cool story. Enough independents start to vote and those on the left and the right will have to play to more than get the guns, get their money, plug up her uterus till she births and the homos are evil crowd. You might even see people start talking about issues rather than bitterness and preachers. MIght be harder to win an election.
