Owning guns is saving your life and property

Here an example of how a gunlover had his weapon taken and turned against him while he cowered:

..."police are investigating an overnight burglary that ended when the homeowner was shot with his own gun ...

Police were called about 3:40 a.m. Wednesday and found the homeowner on his back patio with a single gunshot wound to his upper torso.

The gun was left behind by the burglars.

The victim said he confronted three men who entered his home in the 1700 block of Surrey Lane, near Glen Oaks and Lake Forest drives.

A struggle ensued, and the man was shot after losing control of his gun."

You're assuming a woman that married you isn't stupid?

Do you think this gunlover thought he was safe from his wife, too?

A Kansas City woman was arrested Monday night, accused of shooting her husband in the genitals with his handgun.

I know my wife is not stupid.

And the shooting story you posted is not relevant. That was domestic violence involving a shooting. No domestic violence in my home.

Fail on your part.

That is an example of someone stupidly hoping that showing a gun would be all he had to do. He was obviously wrong.

If 53% of Americans get divorced and 30-60% cheat on their spouses, a little husband-shooting is only to be expected, isn't it?

No domestic violence in your doublewide? You'd better hope she never turns you in for using obscene language or gestures.

"Under Alabama law, domestic violence occurs when crimes such as harassment, assault, menacing, reckless endangerment, or coercion are committed against a victim who is a current or former spouse...It's "harassment" for your abuser to annoy or alarm you by physically hurting you and using obscene language or gestures. Harassment also includes verbal or nonverbal threats made with intent to carry out the threat that would cause you to fear for your life. Your abuser can be arrested for harassing you..."

BTW, if your wife ever tells a judge that you are an abuser, kiss your precious guns goodbye.

"...if you have a current Protection From Abuse Order (PFA) from a court against your abuser, or if your abuser has been convicted of a felony or domestic violence misdemeanor, then Federal law states that it is illegal for your abuser to buy or have a gun in their possession.

You MUST ASK THE JUDGE to specifically write in your order that the abuser cannot buy or have a gun while the order is in effect and to require that your abuser to give any guns to the police, or require the police to go to the abuser's house and get them. The guns then go to either the county sheriff or court clerk of stolen property. The district attorney in the county where the gun(s) was taken away can then file to have them destroyed..."

As I said, no domestic violence in my home. We have a very happy home and a great marriage. Good luck finding as great a lady as I did.

You were there? Awesome. What happened?

He obviously did not shoot the intruders, now did he?

So he was obviously using the gun as a threat instead of deadly force. If you think they were quick enough to take the loaded gun before he could shoot them, you have been watching to much tv.

Amazing how the gunlovers on this board are the exception to every rule.

In the real world, things aren't so perfect, are they?

"St. Louis woman shot her husband to death after he gave her a can of warm beer"...

I have asked similar questions before, and have yet to receive a response.

Are you in favor of banning all privately owned guns?

Are you in favor of banning guns designed for hunting?

What gun bans would you approve of, or would you favor?

.

Enthralling eyewitness account, or wishful thinking fueled by prejudice?

Yeah, and Lorena Bobbitt cut her husband's dick off with a knife. There are twisted people all over.

Still nothing but another sick person making the news.

A simple knowledge oof guns is all it takes. To pull a trigger takes a few pounds of pressure and movement of around an inch. Not much chance the homeowner was willing to shoot if he didn't shoot.

So who really shot JR?

There are a lot of sick people with guns making the news. That's inconvenient for you, isn't it?
