That number (who they won't vote for him) is going to come down, I believe.

And as I said, he’s kept women like my mom, willing to vote for him if he’s the nominee. She can’t be the only one. There has to be a large percentage of white women over 50 like her, who do not dislike Obama. I know this is an unfair advantage but the fact is that there is a demographic of women who have been bullied by men all their lives, or at least part of their lives. And they freak when they see anything that reminds them of that. I personally did not realize what a big moment it was when Lazio crossed that stage, in her 2000 debate for Senate. But I’ve never been bullied by a man. It’s just not my personality type. So I had no backlash in me. He’s probably done the smart thing not going after her. I wish he could though.

You know, that’d be tough Tiana. Look how they squealed like stuck pigs when Samatha Powers made her comment, and that woman was, well she was some big loss. I was so pissed that they got her scalp. I know you specify not working for him, but if they ever shook hands, she’ll be squealing like a pig and screaming “Shame on you Barack Obama” and demanding he “renounce, reject and denounce” the person. Maybe it can be done, but it would be tough.

Now or in the general?

I think it is better for him to wait for the general. I would agree with Lorax that the Dems do not want a passive campaign, but I think they would prefer the gloves to stay on until he faces McCain rather than attacking another Dem... no matter what Hillary does.

He has this won... once NC is done, it is over (meaning no way do the supers go against him....not meaning that Hillary will actually accept that it is over). He should win there by at least 10% and should make a close race out of Indiana.

That's the whole point. He would be able to denounce and decry his outrage, but you can't stop free speech! If I had the time, I'd start putting to gether a grassroots movements to smear her into oblivion.

The Democratic Party is a party of centrists and guaranteed to be so with the creation of the DLC, otherwise known as the Clinton wing of the party.

Liberals need a party of their own.

My Brother my brother. The time of true leftist liberalism is passed. There is no place in America for people who long for an american democratic socialism. There is no place for people who want to on ANY level, redistribute wealth. Americans have a strong desire to be rich. Everyone wants a big house and a newer car every year and enough money to buy a big house and newer car every year. Those on the left have got to form a relationship with the center left. A leftist party would be relegated to the basement with the Libertarians. You have to find common ground, like reproductive rights and some modest alterations to health care. Radical, Bernie Sanders Left wing socialism only works in Vermont and I am not sure why there other than he has represented them for so long.

Yep unfortunately much of the wealth redistribution is in the trickle up method. Stagnant wages, reduced benefits, etc while corp profit rises. Well not so much at the moment but the trend over the past decade or so.
