Viruses Don’t “Reproduce”. When learning about how viruses reproduce, it’s important to get the terminology right. Technically, they don’t “reproduce”. A more accurate way of putting it is that they “recruit” the host cell to make more of the virus.

Which is why we simply lack the belief that gods exist. I also lack the belief that fairies exists.

Since one of those environmental factors is the survival of the species to mutate, and since 'unsuitable' species die out, the tendency is towards reducing the selection of different species. Where does the variety come from in the first place? If you say 'evolution', you negate the factor of 'natural selection'. That is a paradox, dude. You can't just suspend a theory of science when it's convenient!

The variety comes from different environments. In some environments, being able to fly helps survival and replication. In other environments, being able to breath under water is more important. It also depends which other species are around. After the dinosaurs died out, other species that wouldn't have been able to survive were suddenly able to survive and replicate.

Then I submit the Theory of Evolution, the Theory of Abiogenesis, the Theory of the Big Bang, and the Theory of Creation qualifies as 'religion', for there is no way to test whether any unobserved past event actually occurred.
I also submit the idea that your own definition is itself a 'religion'.

These same people wouldn't pay a psychic or fortuneteller.. or believe in Leprechauns ... yet they do embrace the supernatural.

Wasn't it Pope Gregory who had cats killed because they were familiars of Satan?

There is no such thing as 'supernatural'. That's a meaningless buzzword. Just because YOU don't understand an aspect of nature doesn't make it 'supernatural'.

BTW, there are some Christians that DO pay physics and/or believe in leprechauns. There are some atheists that pay psychics too.

Maybe he just didn't like cats. Wasn't it a Chinese restaurant in San Francisco that had cats killed so they could be served as 'chicken' or 'pork'? Your local pound kills dozens of cats every year because nobody wants them.

Of course there are.. Lots of people are superstitious.. They believe in the Zodiac and Taro Cards, Ghosts, Psychics and Fortunetellers... ALL that is considered supernatural.. Walking on water and talking snakes would also be supernatural.

Some think the slaughter of cats lead to the plague..

The Malleus Maleficarum or the Hammer of Witches, is the well known and the most thorough treatise on witchcraft... which sanctioned the burning of thousands of witches.

because a religion that's lasted for thousands of years is the equivalent of a woman with a sphere of crystal who travels the carnival circuit under the name Madame Zelda.........is that because she also has 3 billion followers around the world?....
