no, it doesn't. this is a very common misperception by morons who think that the constitution was written to give the government control over we the people. the constitution was written to restrict the government, not empower them. thus, tv, movies, internet, cell phones, etc. all would be completely out of the governments ability to access.
The second will never likely be repealed , but it is ripe for reinterpretation.
The current interpretation isn't all that old.
this is why you get ignored, you want to make it about white/black racial issues, but the real issue is blue race against everyone else. but you keep on keeping on with your idiocy.
Somehow, some way, one day I believe the government will remove all guns from private ownership which will leave us in a police state.
Yes it is. They misinterpret the fact that everyone has a right to own a gun.
It's the biggest cause and the biggest problem.
White men wrote the 2nd it's their thoughts and ideas of how things should be.
Everything is Black and white in this country because the white man made it that way.
But now it's time for minorities to take over and put you old tired ass racist to bed.
You are right about misperception by morons. Nothing I said has anything to do with the government controlling the people. But it is (almost) universally agreed that those rights restricting government are not absolute and may be restricted.
If internet, movies, tv are beyond the government's ability to access you are claiming they cannot restrict, for example, pictures of child pornography. You are also willing to allow government to violate your 4th amendment search and seizure protections by seizing your cell phone.
Unless you believe all these rights are absolute (like Justice Black), then government can restrict speech, press, religion, and other rights. If you agree there can be limits, then the argument becomes what those limits are and the Constitution certainly does not specify when the government can restrict these rights. Thus, it is up to court interpretation based on the justices' beliefs about intent.
Do you or do you not want to outlaw guns that are legal today?
No, no authority says everyone has the right to own a gun. That is why state and federal laws set age, criminal history, mental history, type of gun you can own, and hundreds of other regulations.
Any individuals who argue everybody has a right do not make policy so it is just an opinion.
this is pretty pathetic of you, but it's also why you will lose.
Losing?
I said the 2nd needs to change and that's what's going to happen.
Besides, what part of my post was wrong?
That is up to the Supreme Court.
So much for the argument that no one is trying to take away all guns.
I encourage you to hold your breath waiting for it
Guess the old dumbfuck didnt know The 2nd Amendment was ratified as an inseparable part of the Constitution itself and cannot be repealed without repealing the entire Constitution..
Where did he say that? English is difficult for you, isn't it?
because there are MILLIONS of us that will not surrender any portion of our 2nd Amendment. how you lose is that out of those millions, there are people who are black that believe as we do. so your own racism is going to get some of your own people killed. that is how you are wrong.
