Yemen is surrounded. I have a hard time visualizing Iran "arming the Houthis". Just how is that accomplished?
Are planes landing in Yemen loaded down with armaments, some Trans-Saudi secret road for caravans filled with ammo, maybe a port where Iranian container ships unload their deadly cargo?

Shitty society and culture, but they did develop some nice art, and some mathematics, and even medicine.

Europe developed quite a bit of its own, which is what enabled Charles Martel to prevail at the Battle of Tours-Poitiers.
