You see he was in charge of counter terrorism and Bush kicked him out of the room and told him to never mention OBL to him again.

The 9/11 attacks, by almost all accounts, took almost 10 years.

That's why the contention that Bush has "made us safe" because we haven't been attacked DOMESTICALLY is so ludicrous. It assumes that, after a small handful of attacks on our own soil in our 200+ year history, all of a sudden there was a whole slew of attacks in the waiting after 9/11.

It's so stupid; it's really beyond stupid. Every intelligence report since the Iraq invasion has confirmed that this has been an incredible recruiting tool for terrorists, and Al Qaeda is just as strong today as they were before 9/11. I'm so sick of you brain-dead fucks spinning it otherwise.
