Toughest year Ive had mocking my teams draft

How can anyone pull for the Cowboys

:doh::doh:

I travelled to Dallas almost every week for four or five years and STILL hated the Cowboys. I did manage to get a Randy Moss Jersey autographed personally by Drew Pearson and Cliff Harris. Long story, but I digress. The Cowboys SUCK. Almost as bad as the Packers, the Commanders, and any team Tom Brady ever played on. Enough said.

I'm nice and relaxed about the draft. No matter who the Vikings take, they will not win anything. I'm starting to become a Jags fan. They might actually be good.

Why do people hate their competition?

Just a question!

Older people I get still supporting the Cowboys but it speaks to the marketing brilliance of Jerry Jones that with as piss poor as the team has been over the past 25+ years they are still somehow considered 'America's Team' and still get as much national attention as they do.

Haters are going to hate.

I think I may even have some kind of record for an out of state fan...LOL. Havent missed a single televised in my area Cowboys game since 1976.

Only four teams have won less playoff games than the Cowboys over the past 25 years. I haven't looked at the regular season win totals but going off the playoffs not so much.

it requires a competitive team and a good season to reach the playoffs

Most other fans hate the Cowboys for the multiple ass kickings they received at the hands of Dallas for DECADES. Just the truth......

THEY consider themselves to be America's team...and some of the media promotes that bullshit. My guess is that every true American rejoices when Jerry Jones puts on that face he does when the Boys are eating shit!

Anyway...nobody deals with frustration as often as those of us who are GIANTS fans. They can fuck up an orgasm.

Cowboy fans do not consider themselves America's Team. We didn't start that! That started when the play-by-play guys started commenting on how every road Cowboy game they worked, the Cowboy Fans came out of the woodwork!

And you can hate your competition if you think that is good for the soul- But, I do not believe it is.

I don't hate your team or any other NFL TEAM. I am a fan of the sport and all of the teams.

In fact, the Giants are another one of my favorite teams, and I truly wish them the very best!

Isn't America hateful enough without us having to include hatefulness in our sports and entertainment, and even the beer we drink now even?

I just do not understand all of the Hatred expressed towards the Cowboy franchise!

I was born and raised here, in Dallas, and I have been a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and NFL Football, ever since I crawled up into my daddy's lap to watch the Cowboy's very first game. I have watched every DALLAS COWBOYS game since. And I have no regrets about it! They have certainly won enough games and SUPERBOWLS to last me a lifetime!

I don't disagree but ultimately success is determined by Super Bowls (wins) and performance in the playoffs. The Cowboys haven't been to a Super Bowl since the '95-'95 season and are tied for the fifth fewest playoff wins over the past 25 years. By not too many metrics would those results be considered a success.

ultimate success is measured by super bowl wins, but using that criteria - most nfl teams are in the same boat

The Cowboys have four playoff wins in the last 25+ plus years and haven't reached a conference championship game since their last Super Bowl season in '95-'96. There's no denying the team has a great history but if we're talking more present time they have not been a successful franchise (well other than Jerry Jones knows how to print money).

Dallas will once again open the new year as one of a handful of teams thought to have a legit shot at the superbowl

They've gone into seasons before with the same expectations. Maybe this year will be the year but ultimately results on the field speak for themselves and the Cowboys have had very little post season success in the past 25+ years. Whether one likes or dislike the team, that's just the reality.

NOT FOR ME. My team does not have to win the Super Bowl for me to enjoy my fandom and the sport of football.

The Cowboys have won enough games and SUPER BOWLS to last me a lifetime already.

And let's just get the facts out here- out of the 38 times the Dallas Cowboys have played the San Fransisco 49ers, the Cowboys have won 19 of them- THAT's EXACTLY HALF OF THEM!

So your team is no better than mine BIGMOUTH!

you say that - but even in their losses, they were highly competitive - and often times they lost to the eventual super bowl participant

Could I interest you in becoming a Chief’s fan? Patrick Mahommes is a really nice guy! ;)

I like the chiefs. Mahomes is the best player in football IMHO. And his dad pitched for the Twins. Still my AFC team has to be the Jags. Local and all. The AFC is about to have a decade of great quarterbacking with Mahomes, Allen, Burrows and Lawrence. It’s going to be fun to watch. And yeah I think Lawrence is going to be that good. Mahomes is still the king though.

So no draftniks in here I guess? With me its a passion. Has been for decades. Oh and......this fall, Watch out for my Badgers! They are going to make some big time noise this year , maybe even dethrone Ohio state!

The Gophers have beaten them twice in a row for the Ax. I think they’ve come back to the pack at this point. We’ll have to see.
