Use IA and thread banning. I've never used thread banning myself, but can be used to keep posters you think are just trolling out of your threads.

Your ignore list can be used whenever you like. Threadban can only be used if you are the thread starter and before you post the thread. We don't do retroactive threadbanning. Just stick to The List and you won't have any problems.
