More proof the judge is biased and working for the Biden campaign. More proof this is a show trial to stop Trump from beating Biden in the Election

DC federal Judge Tanya Chutkan has set March 4, 2024 as the trial date for Trump's case over the aftermath of the 2020 election. This is the day before Super Tuesday, when 14 states, including California and Texas, head to the polls to determine the GOP nominee for president.

The case, brought by special counsel Jack Smith, alleges that Trump engaged in conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct and official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.Trump has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Trump's trial in Manhattan, brought by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, is set to start March 25, 2024.

In setting the date, Chutkan reportedly spoke to the New York judge who is overseeing the "falsified business documents" case in New York.

"Setting a trial date does not depend and should not depend on a defendant's personal obligations," Chutkan said, comparing Trump's campaign obligations to those of a professional athlete, whose schedule would also not be considered when setting trial dates in a criminal case.More than 12.8 million pages of discovery have been given by the DOJ to Trump's defense. Special counsel prosecutor Molly Gaston said that "at this point, discovery is now substantially complete."

Trump's attorneys are likely to file many motions in the coming weeks, and John Lauro, representing the president, said that Trump is essentially being prosecuted for "being President Trump." Lauro is reportedly preparing a motion to dismiss the entire case over selective prosecution, saying "it provides an advantage to these prosecutors' boss who's running a campaign against President Trump."

Trump has asserted his belief that the 4 cases currently against him, two from Biden's DOJ and one each in Georgia and New York, constitute election interference.

Because she has a history of being biased against jan 6 defendants. She hates Trump and should recuse herself

Should Cannon? Judges pride themselves on going according to the book. So far Cannon has stepped far out of normal court rulings. Chutkan has not.

Chutkan has refused to accept prosecuter sentanceing recommandations for jan 6 defendents so her hate and Bias is well known

So, when someone is charged with a crime and the judge sets a court date it's perfectly acceptable for the defendant to say "I'm busy that week, we need to put that off a few years". Fuck trump, you commit the crime you get treated like a criminal.

Setting a trial date is what a judge does. The defendants likes, dislikes, social commitments, vacations, etc are not part of the judges decision. That is not biased at all. It is part of the courts job. Trump knew he would be indicted. It’s the primary reason he is running. Too bad he’ll be in a prison cell on Election Day. Guess he should have thought of that at the time. Oops.

Trump would be scot free of any legal liability if he had made the choice to not sexually assault a woman, hadn't conspired to steal an election, and had complied with lawful federal subpoenas to return the government's top secret documents.

Not true. Her sentencing of Jan 6 protesters usually has been outside of the federal guidelines. Her commentary on Jan 6 also shows a political bias.

She has regularly ignored federal prosecutor recommendations on sentencing in plea deals and handed out far harsher sentences to Jan 6 defendants.

The Left doesn't deny any of that, but rather tries to excuse it...

In fact, reading up on her, I'd say she is possibly the worst best choice the Left could make in a judge to 'get' Trump. What that means is her background, demeanor, and courtroom results to date on Jan 6 and related matters means that however Trump's trial with her ends, and a conviction from her is likely, it's going to be horribly for the prosecution come the inevitable appeal. Unlike the Jan 6 cases where the defendants almost always plead out rather than go to trial, with Trump going to trial an appeal is a certainty. I doubt her rulings will stand up to scrutiny based on performance to date.

Thus, the Left gets a brief win but loses in the end because they used a 'ringer' rather than accept a fair trial to get it.
