What country in the world has the most guns?

Trigger guards or a gun safe then? Not that that would have stopped what had happened, just that it might've slowed him down some...but then again, that he was her son, I'm sure he might've had an inherent knowledge of where the keys were at or knew the combinations.

The guns were secured. His mental health is the issue.

So lack of guns doesnt seem to be a problem in this country.

I think this country has a love of violence. It's in the culture and sometimes people act out. It's too quick and easy to kill someone with a gun. We as a country need to stop glorifying might makes right.

It doesn't matter, if you're mentally unstable or have a proclivity for being mentally unstable you shouldn't be able to obtain a firearm...it's not rocket science.

Stop acting like a conservatard and listen; at any given time, 1 of four people suffer from mental health problems. Not the same people repeatedly. It is a revolving door issue.

Almost everyone will suffer depression at some point in their lives.

medical mental health care can help them.

We need comprehensive mental health care in this country as well as comprehensive medical healthcare for everyone.

The head is indeed attached to the body and the entire system is all dependant on the entire body

You still never answered the question. Should those who are found to have mental illness be forced to live in a home (or hospital, ward etc.)?

Good question.

Do you think they should?

The 2nd Amendment gives citizens the right to a personal arsenal.

Who said it didn't, panty-pisser?

The Constitution is the law of the land, upheld by the government and it's servants.

Your pathetic personal arsenal ain't shit.
