Serving fish in the school caffeteria on Fridays is a religious based activity as well.
The origins are in the hindu faith, yes. Does this mean their inclusion in a public school violates the separation of church & state?

i went to a private school and later public schools - no fish only on fridays - fish was available most days but so was meat
Bible Belt schools do not have much Catholic requirements fulfilled, at least per my understanding they are mostly protestants. They wouldn't care about fish on Fridays in any way.Not in the "bible belt" huh ?
