You realize that from what we have read thus far of the FBI investigation, they have found NO evidence that Zimmerman showed racist tendencies. This HELPS Zimmerman. That is the purpose of the FBI investigation. To see if race was an issue. They will also check into the local police and their response to determine if it might be an issue there. They have to do this at this point. They can just as easily exonerate Zimmerman and the Police as they could find evidence against them.
To this point you have not shown a shred of evidence suggesting they are going into this looking to find Zimmerman (or the police) guilty at all costs. (which is what would have to happen to call it a witch hunt)

I'm defending an investigation because a young man is dead, under suspicious circumstances. Now explain to me why I should consider that GZ is telling the truth, seeing as how the other party can't give his side of the story.
