"There are 47 percent of the people who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it ...These are people who pay no income tax. ... [M]y job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."
That's why he will lose.

You bet. He's a detached sociopath, as he unabashedly confirms with his '47%' comments.

Again - that you are incapable of connecting the remarks to Romney's actions, that's your problem, not mine.

You are incapable of sticking to your original claim. That is the point. You simply keep stating what the people will do, what the majority will do, how the majority will react, yet you ignore the actual DATA that shows otherwise. That does not speak highly of your debating skills.

No matter how hard you and others on the left wing nut front try to paint Romney as a sociopath, it is not going to make it true. I think you all need to look up what the word means, I do not think it means what you think it means.

No, that is your point. And Grind's point. It isn't the relevant point, however. The relevant point is that the remarks confirm what will defeat him: his sociopathy. The remarks will continue to be repeated frequently until Election Day, to ensure that the truth stays at the forefront, because all his campaign PR bullshit does nothing to erase this ugly truth.

I've done nothing to paint Romney as a sociopath. He has done that all by himself. And I'm adequately informed as to the definition. That's why I use it to describe Romney.

Whether you think it's true or not, the perception Romney has left with the People about his concern for them - which is nonexistent - is why he will lose. So it really doesn't matter what we call it - sociopathy, self-centeredness, detachment, etc. - because it will translate to 'loser' on November 6th.

Wow... so you are going to blatantly lie, even though the entire board can see your comments? That tells us all everything we need to know about your character.

What am I lying about? Where do I profess giving a shit about what poll numbers and debate ratings say?

You're funny, Lovey. Spin whatever you need to in order to feel victorious.

:rofl2:

LMAO... you continue running around calling him a sociopath and proclaiming he has acted as such, yet you provide nothing to back up your claims. That most certainly is you trying to paint him as such. His actions are not sociopathic in the least. You just don't like him because he is a Rep and so you proclaim him sociopathic. That is pathetic on your part.

and AGAIN, if people really thought that about him as you proclaim, he would not be GAINING IN THE POLLS.

How quickly you forget. I have participated on numerous threads here regarding Romney's treatment of his dog, his concealment of his taxes and his vulture capitalism. The actions described in those threads are the evidence of his sociopathy. I can understand why you, in your profession, would see nothing wrong with Romney's vulture capitalism, however. You defended it ad nauseam on those threads.

Re: the 47% comment by Mitt

I think it is refreshing to note that liberals are now on record telling us this idea about them being the 'entitlement class' who want government funded everything provided for them, is just not true. That the 47% who pay no income taxes and the 47% who support Obama, are not dependent on government entitlements and wanting more and more government social programs, this is good to know. Because when the 53% hand them a political defeat in November, perhaps they can start to implement their plans to eliminate all of this shit being piled on to the working class, and we won't have to have this debate all over again. Whenever we get ready to cut welfare programs, and they start their usual whining and moaning about helping those in need, we can remind them of how they were offended at this notion with the 47% comments.
