Capitalism, my observations show its not perfect.

Ok, lets start by breaking up the Liberal biased Main Stream media who actively manipulated news stories to promote Liberalismn and Obama. No one can tell me that this did not happen, because I listened to ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, and they are overwhelmingly Liberally biased with a few "House" Conservative Reporters", just to try to appease the masses. Thank God for Fox trying to report all the News, although they do slant more to Conservativism, yet they still have Liberal Greta Van Susterin in a premium time slot. There are no Liberal News Anchors on any of the mainstream media groups, unless you count turncoat Joe Scaroborogh on MSNBC. All I do is watch Golf, Tennis, and News, day in and day out, so I consider myself an expert on recognizing Liberalism, I know it when I see/hear it, almost as good as the great Rush Limbaugh does.

the 'liberal' mainstream media is a fiction dreamed up by conservatives to explain why they lose

obviously you do not watch cnn which has conservative biased reporters like wolf blitzer and john king

I dont have the money to advertise.

sure you do......you just need to do it incrementally....nobody starts out with a hundred thousand dollars a year advertising campaign.....one simply makes choices......you've said before you have an employee.....I decided years ago that I could do without a legal secretary......that means I can do as well financially as another attorney earning $75k more in legal billings, because I don't have to pay salaries, taxes and benefits to hire a qualified person.....I use part of that money to operate a web site offering certain free services to my target clientele (landlords and realtors) such as downloadable leases......they pay me $10 per year per apartment for the right to access my website and email me questions that I answer for free......that brings in an extra $15k a year, plus when they need legal services, I'm the first person they think of.......

I know plenty of people/firms who started with a hundred thousand dollars plus a year for advertising. In my area, personal injury, and in my geographic area, Palm Beach County, the advertising market is so flooded that a hundred thousand a month would barely put you on the radar. Then you basically end up working to pay the advertising budget. I operate by word of mouth, you get better cases that way anyway. I simply provide better services than the more popular Firms, but in our democracy not many know it.

I like your web site business format. That is a very inovative way to garner clients. I have some things going also that work in a simular way. A book on dealing with insurance companies and a book on DUI defense.

My legal secretary pays for herself in several ways, but mostly because every year she has managed to bring in enough business to more than pay her nut. This year we settled a case for 7 figures that I would not have had were she not employed by me. Additionally she is excellent at her job, I am redundant except for my signature and going to court. (Not exactly but if feels more and more that way.)

I am happy with the money I make verses the difficulty and amount of work I do. I simply resent the fact that a majority of consumers are getting sub-standard representation from firms that are making a lot more money. That is not how capitolism is suppost to work. I should be turning clients away right and left if it were based on results.

Capitolism, my observations show its not perfect.

I totally agree!

A nation controlled solely by the Capitol and the congress who preside there, is very much imperfect!

Now, CAPITALISM, that is a different story. Capitalism means Liberty. The more capitalism you have, the more liberty you have. The two words are synonymous. Is it good for a society to have 100% pure LIBERTY with no boundaries or limitations? Of course not. We do need some level of restriction on complete unabashed liberty, or we'd have a total anarchy. That said, it is preferable to have as much liberty as possible, within the confines of our laws and restrictions as a civilized people. Whenever it is possible to allow liberty, we should do so, because there is not a good argument against it, most of the time. The same applies to capitalism, because capitalism means liberty.

Lol....Wolf and John conservative. I'll admit that CNN is the most "middle of the road" news network, IMO at least. But to call those two conservative...I must say I did laugh out loud. Maybe I am missing something though.

Anyone to the right of Bill Maher or Ed Shultz is considered a far-right Neo-Con.....

Maybe if we armed everyone, capitalism would be perfect....right, SmarterThanFew?
