Registration WILL lead to CONFISCATION. Don't trust the takers.

And because you believe that you can throw away 2 of the 10 Rights enumerated in the constitution?

No, I simply belive we can limit them somewhat, nuclear arms are limited.

Just like a person can be arrested for insighting a riot or yelling fire in a crowded theater, even though the First Amendment protects freedom of speech.

You are smarter than that Damocles.

LMAO @ 'the will of the people'...

So if we fear monger the ever living crap out of people on something and convince them to vote our way no matter what the topic it is something you will just 'deal with'???

Ironic post is ironic.

I always wanted to say that. Actually, not really.

Yeah, and I can't fire a gun wildly in a crowded theater either. Both equal levels of regulations.

And you are simply wrong. We can't "limit" the 5th and 4th amendments and still be free.

So you belive all Americans should have free access to Nuclear Arms? Insighting a riot is protected under the Bill of Rights?

The Consitution is "not a suicide pact".

The NRA used to be a decent organization, before they lost their minds.

"For nearly a century after, its founding in 1871, the National Rifle Association was among America’s foremost pro-gun control organizations. It was not until 1977 when the NRA that Americans know today emerged, after libertarians who equated owning a gun with the epitome of freedom and fomented widespread distrust against government—if not armed insurrection—emerged after staging a hostile leadership coup.
In the years since, an NRA that once encouraged better markmanship and reasonable gun control laws gave way to an advocacy organization and political force that saw more guns as the answer to society’s worst violence, whether arming commercial airline pilots after 9/11 or teachers after the Newtown, while opposing new restrictions on gun usage.

It is hard to believe that the NRA was committed to gun-control laws for most of the 20th century—helping to write most of the federal laws restricting gun use until the 1980s. “Historically, the leadership of the NRA was more open-minded about gun control than someone familiar with the modern NRA might imagine,” wrote Adam Winkler, a Second Amendment scholar at U.C.L.A. Law School, in his 2011 book, Gunfight: The Battle Over The Right To Bear Arms In America. “The Second Amendment was not nearly as central to the NRA’s identity for most of the organization’s history.”

What has that to do with registration (5th Amendment violation) and in extension home invasion? The constitution may not be, but inanity is a "suicide pact"...

Either you cannot follow the discussion and jumped in here with something that has nothing to do with the topic, or you believe that we can just take away "some" of the rights to make you feel better? The 4th Amendment and 5th Amendment have nothing to do with nuclear arms.

Jarod, stop using false equivalency. It makes you look incredibly retarded.

Im not using F E.... Sorry to disappoint you. You are argueing that the Second is ABSOLUTE, and by extension so is the FIRST and if so...

The right to bear "ARMS" (including the nuclear type) shall not be abridged.

How is registration a violation of the 5th?

Jarod thinks this:

Is the same thing as this:

The discussion is different, you come in here with a stupid "can you own nuclear arms" rubbish in a thread about registration. Either it is your contention that they should be able to own them so long as they are registered or you are in the wrong thread.

Why? You wanted to compare them to America, so why not just use American data? You can't get more American than America.

<sigh> Grind is comparing Canada to America and we already went over the differences between their Constitution and ours. Key word: Constitution. Which other countries with a Constitutional right to bear arms are confiscating guns?
