CBS News senior correspondent John Miller reports that a Saudi national is being questioned by authorities. He was seen "acting suspiciously" running from the explosion and a civilian chased him down and tackled him. He was turned over to Boston Police and is being questioned by FBI. He is being cooperative and denies any involvement.

due to the horrific nature of the deaths and injuries, how soon can we look forward to Bloomberg increasing the size of his personal army and stepping up the stop and frisk policy to include everybody, with no complaints whatsoever from the NYC citizens?

Boston is a very racist city. Maybe it was a racist who tackled the Saudi and claimed he was acting suspicious. Hopefully President Obama will pass an executive order making racism illegal and making the act of accusing a Saudi of acting suspicious after a bombing in the U.S. illegal too.

The thing is Rana...I sincerely meant what I wrote. Things are so fractured right now in our country, we don't need this to drive the wedge deeper. From what I understand some of the Newtown, CT folk were in the VIP area near the finish line. Has that been confirmed, and have they been revictimized?

Really? In real life I've always been sarcastic (or maybe a smart ass is a better term) but in a funny way, not an angry or bitter way. I just thought his comment was stupid because it was transparent what he was fishing for. I also agree with your comment that now isn't the time for political bickering so it prompted such a response.

Can you direct me to where you thought I was? Seriously. I simply stated what news site I got it from and what they said. I literally repeated it in any thread I found about Boston, same thing. Is there something in the thread that prompted you to believe that this was some sort of personal thing for me, that I "needed" it to be somebody or not somebody specific?

Is there some specific reason you "need" to think that people who mention something reported about something in the news means that they don't care or have compassion for victims?

I don't know, maybe not. Well everyone gets a little more bitter as they age, right? And maybe it is my own bitterness projecting itself onto you. ;) No I don't know, I think I just remember your not mocking people so much, but then again, it could just be that you always flew under the radar because everyone else was so much worse. It's no big deal.
