'Three dead' in explosions at Boston Marathon finish

I doubt it, it is rare that they catch somebody like McVeigh with his license plates hanging off...

I think it was his actions previous to running.

They didn't know anything about him until he voluntarily went to the hospital. WITH his ID. So if he's the guy, he's not very smart.

I keep hearing there are no suspects.

They had video, and were looking for him. That he showed up at the hospital just made it easier. As I said, I don't think this makes him the guy. They just had some people they saw acting strangely on the video before the blast that they wanted to talk to.

They will say that right up to the point of arrest. There will be "people of interest" but no suspects.

What's your source for the video? I've heard nothing like that. In fact, during the last presser the FBI said they've just started reviewing videos.

Sounds like Jim Caviezel will be working overtime on this one... :cof1:

Well, it was the cop dude on my radio who said that there were people they were looking for that they saw on video, one that had "run away" after the blast who was acting suspiciously beforehand.

People who are just getting there "just starting" reviewing doesn't mean that nobody who was there before them has looked at a video previous. I think you are jumping to poor conclusions based on what you want to believe, that the guy was "brown" and therefore suspect because he showed up at a hospital. It's nonsense. There were many people with brown skin and injuries that were not questioned, that isn't what made him "of interest". I think you are intelligent enough to realize that.

in other news, no one i know is injured. yaaay.

my cousin finished at 3:31 and then got the fuck out of there, 30 minutes before boom time.

Wow, your cousin is quite an athlete. Normal people finish around the 4 hour mark, the elite around 2:20...

yeah he runs marathons and shit. lol. he's pretty good. this wasn't a one time thing for him, he's done it the past few years.

Well, the "I haven't heard it" must also be.

As I stated, I've been watching that horribly conservative MSNBC.

At least the Westboro Baptist Church knows why this happened:

"Massachusetts invited this special wrath from God Almighty when it was the first state to pass same-sex marriage on May 17, 2004."

LOL... I always laugh at those idiots. Repugnant idiots...

Back in the dim distant days when I was really fit, I did two London Marathons in successive years. My best time was 4 hours 10 minutes.

Yeah, a normally "in good shape" person finishes about 4 hours on average. The super-athletes finish around 2:20, so Grind's friend with 3:30 is pretty danged good.
